Jewelled illustrations, prints and portraits
Over the next few weeks and months, I will be releasing new collections . . . the first; a beautiful jewelled alphabet that you can commission as bespoke prints - you will be able to order names or significant words. Painting the jewels and making them really glow takes time. It is delicate, precious work. It’s what makes my work so different from the digital and AI art work that is becoming ubiquitous.

Hi, I’m Robyn. An artist living in East Sussex.
I create art that feels sumptuous and precious. Heirloom pieces to be treasured.
I have always loved and painted portraits. Recently I have studied traditional jewellery illustration and this has become intrinsic to my work. The magic of gem stones has always captured peoples hearts. It is a timeless fascination.
It is a slow, delicate and precise technique. I work with beautiful gouache and watercolour paint on coloured, textured paper.
You will find gem stones scattered through my portraits, and I have now created work that puts the stones at the forefront. Delicate alphabets filled with diamonds, rubies, sapphires . . .
